ZA have released a new range of Gel Eyeliners in a pencil form, and sent them to me to review along with their Liquid Eyeliner and Eyebrow Liner which have newly improved packaging. I have swatches of them, as well as pictures of them on my face for you to check out these fab new products, so let’s get started!
This is how they all looked swatched on my arm. The black gel eyeliner looked the most bold in this pictures, but I found that on my lids they looked more similar.
The gel eyeliners felt quite solid to me – more like a normal twist-up pencil eyeliner than something like Benefit They’re Real Push Up gel eyeliner which I have reviewed previously.
I found it easier to apply the gel eyeliner, but I like that you can draw a thinner line with the liquid eyeliner. Both lasted well on my eyelids – the gel eyeliner is advertised as lasting 24 hours, I didn’t wear it for anywhere near that long, but it did still look perfect at the end of the day. I honestly don’t know which I could choose to be my favourite – both were really nice, and I think it would just be down to anyone’s personal preference. I didn’t take pictures of me wearing the brown gel eyeliner but it is just as nice as the black, and provides a more subtle look.
I’ve also been enjoying the ZA Brow Liner in BR611- Natural Brown. It gives a natural look to my eyebrows, especially when I apply it in feathery strokes and use the built in spooly-style grooming brush. I haven’t tried Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz but from what I’ve seen online, they seem to be quite similar products, and this is much more easily available in New Zealand.
The pink and black packaging really appeals to me, and the lids all fit securely on, so they would be fine in your handbag or makeup bag.
ZA Gel Eyeliner (RRP $17), Brow Liner (RRP $17) and Liquid Eyeliner (RRP $20) are available at Farmers and pharmacies in New Zealand now!
