MAC Good Luck Trolls Collection Review - Lena Talks Beauty

MAC Good Luck Trolls limited edition collection preview

Good Luck Trolls is MAC Cosmetics’ newest limited edition collection and it has filled me with glee. The packaging is bright, as are the colours contained inside. This post isn’t a full review as I only received my press samples a few days before the collection came out, but I wanted to give you all a look at what the collection is like – so you know to head to your local counters! I’ve also included pricing and store availability for MAC in New Zealand, since this information can be hard for us to find.

“Hair we go! The wild-haired dolls of your youth bring their rainbow tufts, bejewelled bellies and lucky charms to M·A·C Good Luck Trolls – a crazy-hued collection as silly as the creatures themselves. From Lipglass in Bubble Butt to Eye Shadow in Suns Out, Buns Out and Beauty Powder in Glo Rida…being a troll has never been so glamorous!”

The Trolls collection has come about now because of a Trolls movie which is coming out in November 2016. I am a little bit too young for troll dolls to have been huge part of my childhood, but the movie looks adorable.

The collection includes 5 eyeshadows, 4 pigments, 4 lipsticks, 4 glosses, 4 beauty powders, 2 chroma colour hair sprays, and one brush. A fair few of the products are either repromotes from previous LE collections, or feature in the permanent collection (3/6 lipsticks). For some, that might make the collection less appealing if they already have the products, but for others the fun packaging might be enough to pull the trigger on a purchase.
