Goodness and trilogy gift sets - Lena Talks Beauty

Christmas gift sets from Trilogy and Goodness

If, like me, you are yet to buy any Christmas presents, then this is the post for you! Alternatively, if you’ve smugly sorted your Christmas presents then you are still welcome, as who knows, you may be in need of some skincare for yourself. Today I’m reviewing two skincare sets from New Zealand based companies that both harness the powers of natural oils. They are the Trilogy Rosapene™ Beauty Collection and the Goodness Grab & Go  Try-Me Kit. Read on to find out what the sets are comprised of, and why I like them so much…

Trilogy Rosapene Beauty Collection

I swear, Trilogy may just be the brand that I have blogged about the most here on Lena Talks Beauty. I have been receiving products from them for a while now, which is awesome, but it’s also a brand I have bought myself for years. I can be a little bit evangelical about it, but don’t worry, I haven’t got to the point of knocking on people’s doors about it. The Rosapene Beauty Collection is a good way to introduce yourself or someone else to Trilogy products. It contains a full sized Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+ as well as deluxe mini sized Vital Moisturising Cream and Rosapene Night Cream.

The Rosapene collection is beautifully packaged, you don’t even need to go to the trouble of wrapping it since it’s so beautiful. Since I have been so spoiled with Trilogy skincare in the past I gave this kit to my mum and she said her skin has been loving it. Trilogy Rosapene Beauty Collection is $46.90 which is a great price considering the Antioxidant+ is $35.90 on it’s own.

In addition to the Rosapene Beauty collection, Trilogy has other Christmas gift sets available this year and they are:

  • Trilogy Age-Proof Beauty Collection RRP $57.90
  • Trilogy Everyday Must-Haves RRP $26.90
  • Trilogy Handbag Heroes RRP $22.90

Trilogy Handbag Heroes looks perfect for your handbag or overnight bag, containing Ultra Hydrating Hand Cream, Rosehip Oil Lip Balm, and Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+ and packaged in a cute purse.

Grab & Go Goodness Try-me Kit

Okay, so the Goodness Grab & Go Try Me Kit isn’t technically a Christmas gift set, BUT it is a package of mini skincare products which you could give for Christmas, so I think it counts. The Grab & Go Kit from Goodness Natural Beauty lab is all based around Chia Seed oil! I had never tried Chia seed oil until this range was released and now I am hooked. It was also a PR delivery which contained Chia seeds that sparked a chia seed phase for me which you may have witnessed on my pinterest recipe board.

Grab & Go Goodness Try-Me Kit contains:

  • Certified Organic Chia Seed Oil (5ml)
  • Every Day Cream Cleanser (20ml)
  • Every Morning Moisturiser (20ml)
  • Every Week Face Scrub (10ml)
  • Every Evening Cream (25 ml)

I love the combination of the face scrub and evening cream – it’s great to find a scrub that is neither too harsh nor contains plastic microbeads which pollute waterways. Goodness Every Week Face Scrub uses powdered pumice as the exfoliant which I haven’t found to be irritating to my skin at all.

Grab & Go Goodness Try-Me Kit is $24.99 and available in selected Farmers, New World and Countdown stores in New Zealand. For more information or to locate your nearest stockist head to www.goodnessproducts.com

There you have it – two great options for skincare gift sets for someone in your life. I like that neither of them are overly gendered – they could just as easily be for your brother or sister. Everyone has skin and needs to care for it, but they are so often marketed just at women. Trilogy and Goodness are both brands that I respect and love using, so I hope you love them too!

  • I’ve been drooling over the night creams from Trilogy for ages now, I should probably invest at some point. And the whole line from Goodness Me also looks wonderful! Good sizes to try out the products!

  • gift sets are a great way to try out best selling products from the brand…I bought a couple of gift sets from various brands to give as Xmas gifts for family and friends…Trilogy is one of my fav skincare brand…I have been using their rosehip range since more than months now…I am forever hooked to that brand…

    • They are, and it’s good to try the range all together since they tend to complement each other well. I’ve been using Trilogy for years and I’m thrilled that I get to work with he brand now for my blog!

  • I love buying gift sets.. for myself! I know that sounds bad, but its the perfect way to try products before buying a big full-size version. Plus, I love Trilogy products so it won’t be hard for these to fall into my hands when I am at Farmers next time

    • It doesn’t sound bad, it sounds great haha – presents for yourself are the best kind of presents.
